Getting to Laurito Beach by Bus
Go to the Chiesa Nuova stop by Bar Internazionale, buy tickets, ride the Amalfi Coast bus, then take the stairs down to Laurito Beach.
Go to the nearest bus stop
The nearest bus stop is located in the \"Chiesa Nuova\" area of Positano.
It is approximately 140 meters (490 feet) from the hostel.
The bus stop is located outside the cafe/bar called \"Bar Internazionale\".
Exit the hostel through the main door and go down the steps to the road.
Turn left and walk about 100 meters (330 feet).
You will see the cafe/bar called \"Bar Internazionale\" on the left side of the road.
Buy bus tickets
Go into Bar Internazionale and purchase your tickets.
You may be offered one or two tickets, depending on the most cost‑effective option.
Wait for the bus
Cross over the road from Bar Internazionale, where you will wait for the Amalfi bus.
Take the bus
The number of times the bus will stop before you need to disembark will depend on the requests of other passengers on the bus.
The distance you need to travel is about 4.1km / 2.5 miles.
Walk down to the beach
Once you get off the bus, walk back in the direction the bus came from, and take the stairs down (at the signpost).
Tips
- Bus Timetable. Note that the timetable includes Positano times, but not Laurito ones. Laurito bus stop is located about 10 minutes after Sponda.
- Buy your bus ticket to cover your journey both to and then back from the beach, as there’s no shops close to the beach.
